The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency's Sector 8 sprays disinfectant in the Al-Ikhsan Mosque, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

"We want to create a greater sense of security and comfort to the congregation, as many residents perform tarawih night prayers at this mosque," expressed North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Sector 8 Officer, Putut Jantoko, Wednesday (4/14).

He explained it was also focused on facilities and infrastructure of the mosque, starting from the yard, bathroom to the place of ablution and the administration office.

"We have sent three personnel to the location using one unit of water sprayer. Today we spend 15 liters of disinfectant liquid," he stated.
